More than 1,000 runners joined the R.A.C.E. to Serve VI Fun Run held September 9, 2016 at the Asingan Municipal Hall.
The Fun Run kick-started the month-long celebration of the 116th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, headed by the Civil Service Commission.
“The municipality of Asingan is honored and excited to be a part of the CSC run for a cause,” said Mayor Heidee Chua. “We are extending our full support and hospitality as we welcome the runners to Asingan”.

All proceeds from the race will go toward funding the medical mission in San Quintin.
This year’s anniversary theme, “Sigaw ng Lingkod Bayani: Malasakit Para sa Taumbayan, Kapwa Kawani, at Kalikasan” highlights compassion or malasakit with action in public service as a response to the public’s clamor for better, faster, and easier transactions.
Spearheading the Fun Run was CSC Uradaneta, in coordination with partners and sponsors: Eastern Pangasinan Council of Human Resource Management Practioners Officers & Members, Globe Telecom and Media Partner Bombo Radio Dagupan.
