Last year thirty six couples exchanged vows during this event dubbed as “Kasalan sa Asingan”, which was made possible through the joint efforts of Local Government Unit under the leadership of Mayor Heidee Chua in cooperation with our Local Civil Registrar Office headed by Ms. Salud Delmendo Panida

The ‘Kasalan ng Bayan’, is an annual activity of the Local government to legalize the union of couples who in many cases have been living together as husband and wife without the benefit of marriage.

This coming February 12 it would be the 5th time that our lady mayor will officiate the mass wedding. Arya Asingan!

Kasalang Bayan will be on February 12, 2015 9:00 AM at Hon. Francisco Sapigao Sport Complex

REQUIREMENTS:
*Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) from the NSO for both contracting parties
*if 18 – 20 years old, there must be parents’ consent
* If 21 – 24 years old, there must be parents’ advice
*Family planning seminar every Monday only, 1PM at Rural Health Unit (RHU)
*Pre-Marriage counseling, every Monday only, 8am at DSWD
*2015 Cedula of the contracting parties
For Marriage under art. 34 of the Family Code:
*Contracting parties must be 25 years old and above, and has been living together as husband and wife for 5 years
* Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) from the NSO for both contracting parties
*Affidavit of the contracting parties
* Affidavit of 2 disinterested persons
*2015 Cedula
ADDENDUM:
*Birth Certificate of the contracting parties needed for the application of marriage license.
