Asingan Pangasinan Mayor Heidee Chua speaks to 34 newlywed couples who availed free mass wedding under the Kasalang Bayan project, which she personally officiated at the Hon. Francisco Sapigao Sr. Sports Complex Tuesday morning. The ceremony, organized by the Municipal Civil Registrar, is funded by the municipal government as it aims to make unwedded couples become legal husbands and wives.
Apart from the gift of matrimony, the newlyweds were given presents, including flowers, wedding cakes, wine plus free nuptial photographs.

Thirty four (34) couples, who have been living together for at least 5 years, tied knots in the civil mass wedding or “Kasalang Bayan” sponsored by the local government unit of Asingan under the leadership of Mayor Heidee Chua and through the Municipal Civil Registrar, early this morning at the Hon. Francisco Sapigao Sr. Sports Complex .
Mayor Heidee Chua officiated the Kasalang Bayan together with Vice Mayor Carlos Lopez Jr and witnessed by the rest of the Municipal Council.
