PLACING THE RESIDENTIAL COMPOUNDS OF COVID-19 PATIENT NOS. 17 & 18 IN ZONE 1 OF PALARIS AND ZONE 3 OF CALEPAAN, RESPECTIVELY UNDER GRANULAR LOCKDOWN FROM 12:00 NN OF NOVEMBER 1 TO 12:00 NN OF NOVEMBER 14, 2020
WHEREAS, the Municipality of Asingan recorded two (2) new more cases of COVID-19 on October 31, 2020 from Barangays Palaris and Calepaan, making the total positive cases in the locality to 18;
WHEREAS, the National Task Force COVID-19 Memo Circular No. 2, series of 2020 or the “Operational Guidelines on the Application of the Zoning Containment Strategy in the Localization of the National Action Plan Against COVID-19 Response” mandates local government units (LGUs) to utilize the Zoning Containment Strategy in order to contain the spread of the pandemic, transition between quarantine measures, and standardize the implementation of community quarantine;
WHEREAS, pursuant to Executive Order No. 112, s-2020, LGUs are authorized to impose, lift, or extend community quarantine in barangays, upon the concurrence of the relevant regional IATF counterpart body. Likewise, per the recommendation of the Asingan Task Force Against COVID-19 to err on the side of caution and prudence by limiting the mobility and surveil the health conditions of people in the residential compound of Patient Nos. 17 & 18 at Zone 1, Palaris and Zone 3, Calepaan, respectively;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Engr. CARLOS F. LOPEZ, JR, Municipal Mayor, premises considered, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, DO HEREBY PLACE THE COMPOUND OF COVID-19 PATIENT NOS. 17 & 18 AT ZONE 1, PALARIS AND ZONE 3, CALEPAAN UNDER GRANULAR LOCKDOWN FROM 12:00 NOON OF NOVEMBER 1, 2020 UNTIL 12:00 NOON OF NOVEMBER 14, 2020.
ALL THE RESIDENTS from the said compounds are hereby prohibited from leaving the premises and shall undergo the mandatory 14-day home quarantine and necessary health evaluation and tests. Purchase of basic commodities and personal ankles shall be coordinated with the BHERT of the barangay to provide for their needs while undergoing home quarantine.
The Contact Tracing Team and the Disinfection Team are hence instructed to conduct necessary health surveillance to contain the spread of the virus and mitigate the effects of the granular lockdown.
