PLACING THE RESIDENTIAL COMPOUNDS OF COVID-19 PATIENT NOS. 62, 67, 68, AND 70 IN ZONE 4, BARANGAY CABALITIAN, ASINGAN, UNDER GRANULAR LOCKDOWN FROM 12:00 NN OF MARCH 13 TO 12:00 NN OF MARCH 27, 2021
WHEREAS, the Municipality of Asingan recorded drastic increase in Covid-19 cases totaling 72 confirmed cases–of which 12 are currently active, while one (1) is tagged under suspect/probable and 100 close contacts are under monitoring;
WHEREAS, the National Task Force COVID-19 Memo Circular No. 2, series of 2020 or the “Operational Guidelines on the Application of the Zoning Containment Strategy in the Localization of the National Action Plan Against COVID-19 Response” mandates local government units (LGUs) to utilize the Zoning Containment Strategy in order to contain the spread of the pandemic, transition between quarantine measures, and standardize the implementation of community quarantine;
WHEREAS, pursuant to Executive Order No. 112, s-2020, LGUs are authorized to impose, lift, or extend community quarantine in barangays, upon the concurrence of the relevant regional IATF counterpart body. Likewise, the Asingan Task Force Against COVID-19 recommended to err on the side of caution and prudence by limiting the mobility and surveil the health conditions of people in the identified affected area;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Engr. CARLOS F. LOPEZ, JR, Municipal Mayor, premises considered, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, DO HEREBY PLACE THE RESIDENTIAL COMPOUNDS OF COVID-19 PATIENT NOS. 62, 67, 68, & 70 IN ZONE 4, BARANGAY CABALITIAN, ASINGAN UNDER GRANULAR LOCKDOWN FROM 12:00 NN OF MARCH 13 TO 12:00 NN OF MARCH 27, 2021.
ALL RESIDENTS in the said residential compound are hereby prohibited from leaving the premises and shall undergo the mandatory 14-day home quarantine and necessary health evaluation and tests. Purchase of basic commodities and personal articles shall be coordinated with the BHERT of Barangay Cabalitian to provide for their needs while undergoing strict home quarantine/isolation.
The Contact Tracing Team and the Disinfection Team are instructed to conduct necessary health surveillance and technical decontamination to contain the spread of the virus and mitigate the effects of the
granular lockdown among those affected.
Further, the Asingan Municipal Police Station, headed by PMAJ RESTY C. VENTENILLA, and the entire thrust of the Local Task Force Against CoViD-19 are hereby instructed to strictly enforce existing local
and national laws and directives and impose sanctions and penalties to curb the spike of infection.
STRICT COMPLIANCE IS HEREBY ENJOINED.
