Local government officials and employees, barangay officials and functionaries, religious groups, public and private schools, civic society organization, private sectors, business sectors, NGO’s and government offices joined in the simultaneous flag raising yesterday morning to commemorate the 121st Philippine Independence Day anchored with the theme: “Tapang ng Bayan, Malasakit sa Mamamayan”.

Mayor Heidee Chua together with Vice Mayor Carlos Lopez Jr led the annual celebration. Mayor Chua reminded Asinganians to continuously carry out the lessons of the past and unite for a better nation.  Omeng Aguilar / Aleah Monce
