Asingan Joins the National School-based Immunization Program of DOH
The Department of Health (DOH) in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Asingan led by Mayor Heidee Chua, RHU Asingan and Department of Education (DepEd) joins the National School-based Immunization Program.
All grade I pupils will be vaccinated with Measles Containing Vaccine (MCV) and Tetanus Diptheria (TD) while Grade-VII students will receive Measles Rubella (MR) and TD vaccines which are highly recommended by DOH.
DOH is also administering the anti-cervical cancer vaccination to Grade 4 female students aged 9 to 13 in public schools nationwide as part of the school-based immunization program dubbed “Bakunang Tuloy-Tuloy para sa Malusog na Batang Pinoy.
