Barangay Calepaan is now declared as drug-free based on the factors set by the Philippine National Police.
Mayor Heidee Chua, chairman of the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council and PCINSP Junmar Gonzales Asingan Police Chief, signed certification declaring Barangay Calepaan free from drug affectation effective November 2, 2016.
Certification of Drug Cleared Barangay is given to Barangay Calepaan for having met the parameters for declaring drug cleared barangay in relation to the project: Double Barrel through Oplan Tokhang.
Parameters are defined as the non-availability of drug supply and absence of drug transit/transshipment activity, Clandestine drug laboratory, drug warehouse, clandestine chemical warehouse, marijuana cultivation site, drug den, drug pusher, drug user, and protect /coddler and financier.
